The second most important doctrine found in Vedas which has been followed by Dvaita Philosophy is that the World before us is real.
This is supported by all the three kinds by which knowledge can be attained namely by perception, by inference and by scriptures. All these three totally support the doctrine that the World is real.
But Advaitha Philosophy state that the World is Mithya, (means cannot be expressed). It is said so because the world is different from Sat (existent) and is also different from Asat (non existent). While stating so Advaitha has heavily relied on the definition given for Asat under the system of Nyaya School. This has been very ably rebutted but Sri Madhwacharya in his great work called Anuvyakhyana. As a matter of fact, this one verse converted a great genius by name Sri Sobhanabattaru to become the celebrate saint Sri Padhmanaba Theertha who has ordained to the seat of pontificate by Srimad Acharya.
