This glorious book deals with the 170 Slokas by Chandrikacharya under the first adhyaya of Brahma Sutras called as Samanvaya Adhyaya.
Great Chandrikacharya has mainly written this work in prose but after each adhikarnam he would have given few slokas either to substantiate the real crux of the adhikarna or to explain the inapplicability of the meaning given by others. The seva done by him to Teekacharyaa as well as to Srimad Acharya is very great.
Chandrikachrya has written Tatparya Chandrika only for the first two adhyayas. The 3rd and the 4th was completed by his Sishya-10th Swamiji after him Sri Sri Ragunatha Tirtha. The idea for stopping with the first 2 adhyayas can be looked into from Vedantic angle. The 1st & 2nd adhyaya mainly and only deals with Paramatma. With regard to the 3rd & 4th, it is related to the devotees, namely the Sadhana for attaining liberation. So Sri Chandrikacharya might have thought to concentrate on the first 2 adhyayas and leave the balance for his Sishyas to complete his work.
