Sri Vaadhiraja mahan has written this work called Thirtha Prabandha covering the holy places which he visited in the West, North, South and East.

The present book deals with the glories of Rajatapeetapura-Udupi and also Subramanya Kshetra. Mahimas of Mahalakshmi of Kolhapur and Vigneshwara at Gokarna and about Dwaraka Kshetra have been dealt with.

Mahimas of various rivers like Varadha river, Swarna Nadhi, Payaswini Nadhi, Dharma Ganga, Salmali Nadhi, Taapakya river, Narmada River, Gomati river are all described.

This book ends with the Mahimas of Kapilashrama-Sidhapur called Matru Gaya and also Pushkara Kshetra, one of the most ancient and spiritual place in India.
