
This is a very important and wonderful book because the story relating to Rishi Panchami has been narrated in 3 different ways in Brahmanda Purana, Srimad Bhagavatham and also in Mahabharatha Tatparya Nirnaya. The correct position following Tatparya Nirnaya is settled in this book. Under Brahmaanda Purana, there are 103 verses and it is a conversation between Dharma Raaja and Paramaatma. On Rishi Panchami day the seven sacred Rishis-Saptha Rishis have to be worshipped in a great manner.

Under Srimad Bhagavatham, the sixth skanda, 8th chapter deals with Narayana Kavacha consisting of 43 verses and that is also dealt with here. The most important rather revolutionary Premeya (truth) that is settled in this book is under pages 102-118 where several reasons and authorities are given by the author to established that Draupati was not dragged to the courthall by the demon Dusshasana. Concurrence is also later seen from one of the songs of great Kanakadaasa who has said that it was only Shyamala, wife of Yama Dharma Raaja was present at that time.
