Sri Jayathirtha Mahan is one of the greatest exponent of Dvaita Vedanta Philosophy of remarkable vast knowledge. Unless the works of Jayathirtha Mahaprabhu are read, the beauty of Sarva moola cannot be fully understood.
This book was written by Chalari Sankarshanacharya and it consists of 5 sargas totally running 240 slokas. The first sarga contains 50 verses and second one 42, the third one is also 42 and the fourth sarga contains 37 and the fifth sarga runs for 69 verses. It is a beauty that the same author Pandit Chalari Sanckarshanacharya has also written a commentary for this work which is called Jayathirtha Vijaya Prkashika.
Chalari is a small village near Malkeda and all the ancestors of the author for 3 generations are great pandits who all wrote several works. Very detailed account of Jayathirtha Mahaprabhu and also about his Guru Sri Akshobya thirtha as well as of the works of the great mahan Sri Jayathirtha are also described in a very detailed way. The meeting between Vidyaranya, the great Pandit of Advaita and Jayathirtha Mahan’s victory over him is also narrated.
