Mainly there are three entities in the Vedaanta Shastra namely
The difference between the three will be fivefold namely, Difference between
This fivefold difference is beginning less and endless and therefore the world is called as Prapancha because these five differences are eternal. Advaitha states that difference is not real because it suffers from the defect of interdependency. If A is difference from B, then only the knowledge of difference can be understood. If the knowledge of difference is understood then only A is different from B can be understood and therefore the doctrine of difference suffers from the defect of interdependency and hence not admissible.
For this, great Sri Madhwacharya gives a magnificent solution that the difference of one object from all the all the other objects in the world is the very Swaroopa (nature of the object). For Example, if a pot is taken and all the other objects in the world are taken on the other hand, the sum total of differences between that pot and other objects is the very nature, Swabhava and Swaroopa of the pot. And therefore there is no question of interdependency at all and the difference is real.
