This book consists of Srimad Bhagavatha, 4th Skanda Chapter 9, 10 relating to the story of the devotee Dhruva, son of King Uttaanapaada.

Late C.M. Padmanaabachar, a great scholar of the earlier century who is also the maternal uncle of the Author’s father has written a book by name Dhruva’s Penance and this has been published in this book for the benefit of devotees. It is in the form of a draama and several slokas of very great skill written by the said author has been published.

Dhruva had got vision within 6 months when he retired to forest for penance. the truth is that only 6 months penance was pending for him and he has done unlimited devotion to the Lord earlier.
